Welcome Reception, August 23 at City Hall

The welcome reception on August 23, is located to Stockholm City Hall, which is the site of the Nobel prize banquet each year on December 10. Stockholm City Hall was built between 1911 and 1923 and was designed by the Swedish
architect Ragnar Östberg. The building also houses offices for 200 people including the Municipal Council.

The welcome reception is included in the registration fee for all participant categories. You register for the reception on the symposium registration form.

Symposium Dinner, August 26 at Winterviken

In beautiful Vinterviken, only 15 minutes (by bus or car) away from Stockholm city lays the old factory of Nobel from 1891. This is the site of Restaurant Winterviken, venue of the symposium dinner. Winterviken is run by one of Sweden’s most reputed chefs Marcus Aujalay, well known for most Swedish people from television. He has won several national and international titles, and has also managed the Nobel prize award dinner.

The symposium dinner is an extra charge of SEK 720 (appr 69€) for registered participants. You register for the dinner on the symposium registration form. Transportation to and from the restaurant is included in the dinner fee.
