Young Researchers Symposium
Satellite Symposium, August 23
If you are in the beginning of your research carrier (PhD student, Post-doc or researcher (no more than 7 years after the PhD) do not miss the opportunity to make a presentation of yourself and your research.
The young researcher’s symposium (YRS) is a one day satellite symposium. The symposium will be on Sunday August 23, 2020, preceding the main symposium that starts with a reception in the evening of the same day. The YRS will give you the opportunity to give a talk and present your research, projects and results (that you will show on a poster during the main IRT meeting), meet fellow young scientists from all over the world and learn about their work. This opportunity will make your research and you as a researcher more visible during the subsequent IRT conference and increase your networking opportunity.
The YRS will take place in the NEO building at Karolinska Institutet southern campus (local train station Flemingsberg). The event is limited to 70 participants with the opportunity for about half of the participants to make oral presentations (8 min presentation and 2 min for Q and A), on a first come first serve basis – so register early. Please submit your abstract and then tick the box for the YRS during registration for the IRT to have a chance to be one of the young researcher’s presenting during the Young Researchers Day!
The only fee for participation to the YRS is SEK 260 (approximately Euro 25) to cover for catering (Coffee/Tea breaks and a light Lunch).
Registration: You register for the YRS on the registration form of the IRT2020 symposium. Please note, that you can only attend the YRS if you register for the symposium.
